I've been looking for a chance to relocate and join a more high profile tech company, and recently started interviewing for a role with the Prime Delivery Experience team in Seattle. I know there are horror stories abound about working at Amazon but it seems like it's very team-dependent. Can anyone weigh in on how this team is compared to others?
I’m in an adjacent team and can say delivery experience has a fair amount of churn. If you can stick through it, you’ll have a lot of good opportunities to make cool stuff and develop your career, but it is a meat grinder for some folks.
Can u please DM me?
It’s got high churn and useless sde3 promoted from L5 due to no one left. Lots of tech debt and wrong decisions that were one way doors. Specifically datapath is shit. VP is quite useless and doesn’t give a shit about people and things are constantly on fire and so that’s why so many left.... I just left myself
Is it still the same?

Anecdotal: had SDE friend move from Kindle to Prime DEX, left 6 months after the switch because the org sucked so much. This was almost 2 years ago, though, so maybe things have improved.
