Can someone from Amazon folks help me to understand how does that work? I mean I know it is as 5/15/40/40 vesting in next 4 years, but not sure how that makes lvl6 salary with base $220 to $359 in total? (Yeah thats the avg of 4 years maybe, but that means the current RSU is around $600K then? It just seems a bit unrealistic to me but wherever I check, $350ish K is the yearly TC it shows.. any input would be appreciated. (And bonus was just around $3000 so it doesnt seem the main impact on that $350K) I never had RSUs before, just trying to understand that if you can really rely on RSU as cash in your pocket after paying its tax at the end of the year (of course assuming your employment continous etc..) #amazonbenefits #amazon #amazonbonus

You should get cash sign on bonus to balance out first 2 years so that total comp over 4 years is flat. Amazon also likes to be sneaky and includes a 15% assumed year-over-year increase in stock price into the offer estimates.
Thanks a lot. But that what made me confused as they were showing the bonus only $3K.
