Amazon Sr Tech Writer TC
Interviewing at Amazon again. First time was 3 years ago. Everyone green lit me except the bar raiser so nervous with this 2nd opportunity. Looked at Glassdoor for salary info but wanted more data from people on Blind. (I’ve got 18 y.o.e. in high tech - hardware and software.) For a Sr Tech Writer at Amazon, salary, RSUs, and sign-on bonus?

$163K target total comp for an L6 TW I know, but has done better due to stock. Maybe lowballed.
What band are you expecting? Genuinely curious but not enough to go check Glassdoor. Best of luck in your interviews and negotiations. I really wish our team had a tech writer.
Haven’t got that far in the process but my research shows me $130-$160K for base salary. I’m nervous because former peers have gone there and it’s a split vote between love or hate - no in-between.
