What should be target compensation for TPM L6 position in Bay Area? Also, anybody heard recruiter say *No increment, stock refresh* until promotion since they max out sign on payments and stock grant during negotiation? Amazon Offer right now: $415K+ (Including Base, Sign on Payments, Stock grant). #amazoncompensation PS: I can assure my counting of TC is correct. 1st year TC is $415K including Sign on Payments and likewise for 2nd year as well. The only concern is recruiter comment about *No increment, stock refresh* until L7. #tech #amazonbenefits #tpm #technicalprogrammanager #compensation
$415k is out of band. Are you sure? Usual offer is around $280-$300k. Are you counting sign on right?
Is 280-300k range for L6 TPM in bay area ?
Yes
Breakdown or gtfo
Thats correct guidance about not expecting to see anymore. Yes, that is very high for L6 (into L7 band), even in Bay Area. If that is correct, take it.
Yep offer looks high for L6, congratulations on the TC. L7 TC post promo will not increase much for you, so you need to consider that too
OP - you can feel happy that your calculation is correct, but for an L6 TPM this is wayyyy over band. And that’s why folks are asking for the breakdown. If you don’t want to share that, then it sounds even more fishy
TPMs typically make less than PMTs at Amazon. Your TC is way high even for a L6 Sr. PMT. What’s with being so secretive about TC breakdown?
Your math might be off. What's the break down numbers?
Somebody did a math and posted above. That is correct number.
Let's double check the numbers. What's the breakdown?
I was also hired as L6 TPM with an L7 band offer.
What’s your TC breakdown?
At offer (Dec 2019) 155/155/200RSU. Now 2021 is about 370.
Don’t ask for help on here if you won’t post the breakdown. I think you’re mis-interpreting the sign on bonus. Your 240K is over 2 years so 120K a year. That brings your TC to $295K which seems about right.
I have a feeling you are interpreting the TC wrong. Could you share your breakdown on RSU and 1st year joining bonus and 2nd ur joining bonus numbers.
Updated post above. TC is right.
Then why not post the breakdown
