Amazon WFH RTO Return to Office
I have been virtual my entire tenure at Amazon, though have always been tagged to a building. Amazon, I wish I didn't dedicate 6 years of my life to being your stellar employee. I have been promoted, become a BR, and become a manager. Please tell me how you firing me for not coming into the office 3 days a week is a performance related issue. I hope you're sued a million times over for not paying your dedicated employees severance packages. Evil.corporate.empire BS. #tech #corporate #amazon
Amazon (AWS) was drunk on profit for a decade and pulled a charade deal on employees with sign on bonuses, RSUs, and WFH. Then the stock plummeted, and this is the result (basically a silent culling).
It’s an opportunity for Amazon to lay off thousands without making it public AND without paying out severance or what it had contractually obligated itself to, when hiring persons promising RSU’s distributed over a four year period. The absolute worst of the worst for tech companies
