I feel really bad about the layoffs, Google is likely up next. How much money did the people who were laid off received? Was it around 15 weeks of base pay?
Amazon USA is not that much, just 2 months plus 1 week of every 6 months
Heard the same. 60 days on payroll + benefits and then 1 week of base pay for every 6 months of tenure. (Min: 4 weeks, max: 20 weeks)
You have 60 days of an internal job search that is two whole months' pay. Severance depends on several years in the org with a min of 4 weeks base pay.
12 + 2n weeks of comp. Looks standard
The layoff email only says about the 60 days. How do you know about severance?
The severance or min 4 weeks is part of the standard layoff package. You’ll get that no matter what
Alphabet already did, isn’t it?
i am in nyc and am tenured 5 years so i received 90 days on payroll and benefits, plus 1 week base pay for every 6 months worked for severance, plus unused PTO. i’m sitting at close to 6 months base pay altogether
