We're trying to grow our internal job descriptions at Zapier. Amazon makes a distinction between data, research, and applied scientists. Is there any public (or information you all can share) about the criteria used for levels within those roles? If so, please share. :)

I would say generally they require a PhD at minimum. Then YOE and impact determines level.
