Amazon "application received" but I never applied?
some Alexa recruiter said they received my application and are going forward with a phone interview. uhm I never applied??? email def sounds more like gaslighting, recruiter wants me to fill out the job posting "again" and submit some questionnaire that asks to fill out basic info like name & email etc. seems like a shady tactic to get someone to apply. did anyone else get this email before? I'm not at amzn anymore but did work there previously
Maybe it is an old application from before you worked at Amazon. I just got reached out to for a position I applied for in 2016, no joke.
I don't think I ever applied to Alexa lol, but maybe...? I probs applied to a crap ton back in 2016 so it's possible

I just thought it was a very bizarre thing and was wondering if others had the same experience
