What's the Amazon boulder culture like? Same as Seattle, or more laid back?
Google Boulder (where I'm at) is generally a lot more laid back than mountain view for comparison from my side.
YOE:5.5
TC: 225 (Google L4)
Yes, Amazon Colorado culture in general (both Boulder and Denver) is way better than Seattle. Wlb also is much better. Some teams even implement powder days from what I heard, especially if a manager is a ski bum himself :) Much less growth opportunities and bigger impact projects than Seattle for sure.
It's interesting to know they are better in colorado. I always wanted to work out of boulder at least for few years enjoying the beautiful boulder and it's scenic trails assuming I have time off work. I have spent all my years in US at NYC and I'm considering moving out to the rockies 🙂
I'm curious to know how your TC changes from Seattle to boulder ?

Go work for Goldman SLC vBok. Better skiing and hiking than Boulder in the near vicinity
