Hi, I do have a question about joining Amazon. My to-be manager seems very lost and lawyers from fragomen take ages to respond. Does amazon re-file in case of a h1b transfer denial? Is this a legit question to ask? Last time when I asked manager and recruiter, they said it is not policy to plan worst case decisions in advance and they said they will have to ask others since for this role and in their organization they haven't seen a single denial. I know the some orgs. send you to an offshore office in case you don't get picked in lottery., so is this similar case for denials? What is the best way to get this information. Does anayone have experience coming back?

Worst case: Work for a non profit university by building professional relation with the director/ deputy director of systems/ it research. You can be h1b cap exempt. Good for those non immigrants who strictly like working and living in US.
That's not the aim for me. But thanks for sharing that information. I am okay with leaving and then coming back. Boyfriend is working here and I wouldn't want to relocate back to home country just as yet.

Can you clarify what do you mean by Denial?
Basically if my h1b transfer gets denied due to some random reason by uscis
They normally ask for more info. But it's really rare if that happens. But if that is the case and you don't have another visa there is no way to refile
