My contract is not 100% remote. I am working remotely until next year due to the pandemic. If I want to receive any gifts (except birthday) or swags from Amazon, I am forced to go to the office. People that have the 100% remote contract receive the same gift or swag in their homes. In the mid of the year I won a raffle. Next day I received an email saying that people who are 100% remote would receive the prizes on their homes, but I had 1 week to go to office to get mine. I live really far from the office, so basically the tickets to go there are more expensive than the prize. I got a little frustrated. Do you think that this “incentive” motivate people to go to the office of to leave the company?
TC or gtfo
Idk what gtfo means, but my TC will not be relevant since I do not live in US.
Just ask a coworker to cop the gift for you until you’re able to meet them
I did it, but isn’t weird especially for a company like Amazon?
They can do much better than that incentive. Maybe they are researching who is showing up to pick up the gifts then running Predictive analytics to determine how many people won’t show up in RTO cross by performance on contract renewal. Or maybe it’s nothing at all.
Advanced answer, thanks, will search about this
Only company in the world that can fullfill 1-day shipping promises to millions of people yet they can't mail a t-shirt to their own employees. Total bullshit
That’s what I was trying to say
You could ask the admin to courier your stuff to your address and for future shipments ship them to you.
