Amazon internal transfer
Any tips on how to word my internal transfer news to my manager. I have only being at Amazon 2 months and the reason to change is location. TC: 410

Did you formally apply after you got verbal acceptance from the new team? If you didn't do it right, you're probably in devlist heading for PIP.

You need to wait to apply till after you get verbal OK from new team, if you don't do it in this manner you will be PIP
it’s hard but bring it up during ur 1v1 and make it clear ur decision is final. this way u can immediately apply for the new team and kick off the process, and ur manager can work on transitioning you out
I am waiting on verbal offer than I will apply and before apply I will talk with my mgr

Let's say once I get verbal offer than after informing my manager I apply right away. What if my manager just talks bad about me? So far I have not gotten any feedback whatsoever so far

They did not verbally gave me offer . In my call they said that they will look at my recent interview results. I don't need to go thru loop. I am guessing getting all the interview loop and review my resume will take few days . I am not sure
Lets see this role is in completely different part of amazon. Also I don't care if they do this. I will just think of it has it was not meant to be. I don't have any visa issue to worry about. I also have legal option since don't care about severance if they play this dirty game.
