Amazon pays well, very stable, and actually doesn’t need to layoff because of PIP. There’s no better place for hardworking and talented staff. Many qualified people get laid off during layoffs.
Well, technically we’re all in Google.
Lol
Amazon: We have the best staff, thanks to PIP. Don't code fast enough? PIP Under engineer code? Also PIP. Over engineer code? Straight to PIP, right away. If you're caught ehhh copypasting? Believe it or not, PIP.
This is a parks and rec reference and I like it
Amazon rejects and trolls will spam like usual but you are right. There is nowhere else I’d rather be. IMO it’s the best tech company to work for. There are companies that do individual cherry picked things better than Amazon but there is no company that provides a better overall employment package than Amazon.
Amazon is becoming a terrible place to stay even for TTs.
Oof the HR vibes in this thread are fr
It's more stable because Amazon's key products (retail and cloud) are things people/companies need no matter what. They will spend less during a recession but still spend. On the other hand, Amazon doesn't have the cash reserves some other big tech companies have.
