Amazon joining a new team or no?
Hey, I received a recently verbal offer for physical stores team in NYC and am currently in the middle of selecting a team. I have some friends in the company and they were able to get some information about the teams. 1st: No one on his teams. So it seems I would be joining an entirely new team and be by myself for now. 2nd: Small team. Seems like they're growing. 3rd: Mid sized team, so it seems like they have a working product I don't have an offer letter yet, so I don't have any TC to share for that. I guess for referece I was downleveled from SDE 2 to SDE1 after interview. Any one with suggestions for which team to join? Any thing to look out for in managers? Are physicals store teams good? Mid size is probably the safest bet, if you join a small team/no team and the product fails youโll be first in line for PIP

Curious why you felt like that's the case? Personally, I think it would be more fun, but there definitely seems like more risk there.
