Ok, for just 40-50k tc jump I would not recommend amazon stress. I used to work there. The Company is pretty cheap. 401k match isnt as good as msft, not even free soda, no free parking, you pay for insurance etc etc. l6 to l7 promo is also extremely hard so be prepared to just stay at l6 for a long time if you go. I would say look elsewhere. Even meta e5 can probably beat 400k anyway, although you should aim for e6.

I had 650k L6 offer in 2022, seems to be on the lower end
Look up the SDE comp range. I think it's 384-530. I'd ask for more
