Amazon offer vs Meta Team Matching

I have the following offer from Amazon (Seattle) post-negotiation: L5 - TC: ~270k Base Pay: 170k Year 1 Bonus: 90k Year 2 Bonus: 70k Stocks: 1300 units (current price 180) I've been stuck in team matching with Meta for 4 weeks for L4 Systems Generalist (had one team matching call, which got cancelled within 24 hours of it being set up). What should I do? Should I email my Meta recruiter about the Amazon offer? I feel like giving them an ultimatum will push them to focus on another candidate since they'll think I'll have accepted the Amazon offer after a week or so. #meta #teammatch #amazon

Definitely tell them hurry up. No recruiter wants to lose offer ready candidate

My promo stock from Amazon was 297K I think you got low balled. My stock price was also at way way less than that

I told the recruiter that the average for Seattle looks like it's from 270-320 (levels.fyi average range) and I'm targeting the middle of the range, but she brushed it off and said above 300 is SDE 3. I guess I'm a terrible negotiator...

300 E6 is not true at all.

What was your initial Amazon offer? How much where you able to negotiate?

I negotiated from 160 base to 170 base. No other increases.

Your in a tough spot. Amazon is not going to wait long, and meta filled most headcounts. If you are willing to go to Amazon, then you are not losing anything by telling your meta recruiter how it is. Either a quick team match and offer, or you need to move on for now. Maybe you could negotiate another team matching attempt in six months if you don’t like Amazon. Compensation wise keep in mind that Amazon has no bonuses, you basically either keep your compensation, or get pipped. It’s not going to grow unless you get promoted, and even after that it will take time. Culture is super toxic with nonstop layoffs.
