Hi! Scheduled for onsite interview for a PM role in Supply chain area Any guidance and tips are very much appreciated.
Have lots of stories. Dive deep at least 1 or 2 layers for all of them. Practice and practice. It's a long one so be prepared to handle brain fatigue.
Google "interviewing at amazon" Respond using the STAR format and try to keep responses between 2-4 minutes. You dont want to provide a short high level response nor do you want to be verbose. 3 minutes is the sweet spot. Usually ~75% of the interview is leadership principle based so have some solid stories on how you exemplify the LPs. Also dont speak negatively about anyone/thing, this usually is an Earns Trust red flag and most often then not turns the entire loop to not inclined real quick.
You will get a technical Interview and leadership principles interview. Google Amazons leadership principles and think hard of work experiences that would apply to any of those principles. Expect them to keep digging further on questions they think you aren't giving enough of an answer to, that's fine it's nothing to worry about just be clear with what you say, be calm and you'll be fine.
