Got 5 rounds virtual onsite interview last Monday. Yesterday (only 2 days later) got an email with the title: Following Your Interview. I know that I need to schedule and wait for that call to know the result. But I wonder why can't the HR just let me know the result to expect on the email itself then can have the call later on. A little bit annoyed because of this waiting time so. #amazon #onsite
I think it’s prob a reject I usually just get calls out of the blue when the feedback is positive
Mine was the opposite for Amazon. On the 5th business day after my on-site interview, which was the day before thanksgiving at 4:50pm, I got a random call for the reject...
Lmaooo amazon is savage
It’ll be an accept. Don’t stress!!
Interview for 2 teams at the same time is allowed?
That's cool. Congrats on the offer.
You got the offer that’s why
ah getting a virtual on site in 2 weeks and dont think im capable of converting it into an offer. already know how bad im
You can ask OP about the questions. I am interested too, OP. ;)
Haha, okay here is it. Algorithm: 3 medium questions Object-oriented design: parking lot System design: One of the amazon service. Hope this helps. Don't want to go too much detail about this but this is really typical.
Not sure why people are guessing for you. Haha.. It can be either accept or reject. What do you think about your performance during the interview?
Totally agree. I prefer is instant feedback via email or by phone. I don't mind if you call me without appt. You know I am waiting for the result.
Did you get the result? And what was it?
Failed due to system design round
Do try again!

You're a little bit annoyed that they want to be personable and want to give you news (regardless if good or bad) together/over the phone?
I mean if the HR got the result already they can just tell the candidate what to expect in the email. I have no problem with the phone itself.
Theres no point to a call if they tell you the result over email. The whole point is to seem a bit more personable and convey a sympathetic tone if rejected or join in on the excitement and congratulate you if they extend an offer. This isnt rocket science.
