Kind of. But it's sad because his post will affect his employability.
I feel bad for that too
Nice. That means it's better to be a employer or in management because you can get away with anything.
I just mentioned this on other post yesterday - “No amount of money can convince me to work for Amazon.” God knows why folks have to work there. So many better options out there.
Nah, there definitely is an amount of money. But it needs to be paid up front because those fuckers pip you before the RSUs vest
Everyone has a price. The ones working their named their price.
I’ve seen people who got straight up PIPed for just bad performance post similar types of things to make it sound better. Just because someone posts a long story doesn’t make any ounce of it true.
It has nothing to do with someone’s gender..?
Yes. Yes we are.
In team meetings? Nooo Blind is 'laughing' stock in those
Idk if this is true. This is according to his manager: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/michaelryanjohnson_amazon-activity-6895571925733666816-U5q8 Main post was deleted
I looked up all his work internally and no he did not write 35k lines of code. He had about 500 for the past year. All of his changes were simple config. He had no work product writing any meaningful code. He deserved a pip.
We got a pay raise partly because of this dude, 😂. Crazy times.
Should aws guys/gals thank to him? 😂 He’s making the Bosman ruling (Google for it - Bosman won, but did not get the good personal finance 🥲)
Lol, yeah Jiawei is basically our Bosman. But Jiawei will also get a raise since he’s still at Amazon. It’s crazy, 😂.
Bout fucking time
