Any idea of what to expect in terms of comp at those levels and how it is broken up between sign on bonus, base and stocks?
500k total comp
I have no idea on the bands, but what I do know: Base company-wide is capped at 160k. This is likely what would be offered. Vesting of initial grant is over four years, and is backweighted with signing bonuses used to cover the base to target total comp gap for the first two years. Vesting at Sr principal will be quarterly instead of twice a year. This is because so much of the % of comp is in stock. I do not know how new hire L8+ vesting works. It is: 12mo 5% 24mo 15% 30/36/42/48mo 20% For L7 and below I have heard very large numbers thrown around but Sr Principals and especially external hires thereof is so rare I don’t know if you will have offers to compare against.
