I’d love to get some help on deciding the offer. This would be my last internship before graduating, I hope to get an return offer from this internship. Please share any insights about the two companies and experiences working as a full-time SWE.
Lol anti amazon bias on blind is crazy. Imo amazon is the clear winner, helps more on resume, the pace makes you learn more, and 90+% of people get a return off so as an intern the wlb isn't bad at all
Lol
Amazon on your resume is going to help a lot more than Adobe on it
Lol
Go with Amazon
Amazon!
I interned at Adobe and work at Amazon currently. I'd say either should be good. Adobe generally gives team specific internships so you can gather information about the product/team a bit more than Amazon. Amazon has scale but as an intern, your experience will mainly be based off your mentor and manager. I had calls from all big tech companies with Adobe on resume so I don't think 'Amazon has more prestige' really holds true. The compensation at either of them will be good as a new grad. Hope it helps!
Did you get a return offer from Adobe? And would you say it's more selective than Amazon?
Yes, I had a return offer as well. How does being selective define whether a company is good to work at? I'd say if you are a good engineer, getting a return offer at either place should not be difficult.
Adobe if you wanna chill, Amazon if you wanna grind. Speaking from personal experience
