I am currently working as a software developer frontend and tired of my work stress. I have an offer from Honeywell and wanted to know if I should even consider as it is not a tech faang company. Its a senior frontend engineer role, and it suits my profile. In terms of TC it is 20% more and not sure about future prospects of it. Kindly guide me about it. #honeywell #amazonian
Honeywell is doing a ton of work in the Smart Building space. They have a software platform (called forage or something) and the hardware component they’re obvi known for. So not sure what role you’re in but they are known in the Smart Building/IoT space as a leader
Honeywell is not a good company to work at, it's not a tech company, it's a manufacturing company so you will be doing work how things are done in the industrial sector. Which one did you end up choosing?
Stay away from Honeywell. It’s one of the worst companies I worked for and after 1 year, I am completely burned out.
1. I am shocked that Honeywell pays more than Amazon, 2. Honeywell is a terrible place to work, I used to work there and left in 2021.. they furlough/RIF/PIP routinely. MBA culture, as many executives as contributors.
Stay away from Honeywell unless you're truly desperate. It has toxic work culture and will make you hate your life.
Please avoid Honeywell. Worst company I've worked for. They're the next GE.
