Was msft your first job? YoE? I’m at OCI, was previously at Amazon. I would say Amazon if you want to learn. I don’t see lower level engineers doing any interesting work in OCI.

Why?
Because it's pays more than Microsoft. 😂 Jokes apart, people are nice, work and learning is good and OCI is doing well from business front as well at least for next few year. Again it's my personal experience.
Has OCI started hiring? They had hiring freeze which is not a good sign for a cloud provider because AWS/Azure were still hiring crazily. Don't know how's their prospect.

I left Amazon for OCI. Great work, WLB is slightly bad during some weeks. But not as bad as Amazon. OCI is definitely trying to make a difference in cloud. It’s a good learning space if you are part of core cloud teams. I am not sure about other teams and what’s the work like.
Any idea what the API Gateway team is like at OCI?

Knowing people at both, I would say Oracle for sure. Brand recognition and company future may be pros at amazon, but I don’t think it’s worth the major work life balance hit you’ll take
