Amazonians at Seattle: How are your signon bonuses taxed monthly?
I know it's paid pro rated. Are they taxed just like base salary effectively making base+ signon = taxable income and taxed based on this total band?

Monthly paid bonuses are treated like salary, one time bonuses are taxed at the highest rate.
Your bonus is taxed at the maximum federal rate and then you’ll get a refund in tax season when you do the base+sign-on calculation.
Maximum federal rate ? Does this rate depends on the bonus amount? Or it doesn't matter?
