All empires come to an end. $33.1 trillion in debt, 7 million illegals, layoffs, offshoring jobs, vacant office buildings, increasing wealth gap, rampant homelessness, political ruling class getting rich while middle class has $1 trillion in credit card debt, government sending money offshore to Ukraine and other nations yet zero nations send their tax dollars to US, double standard legal system, discriminatory employment practices,… Apathetic citizens refuse to hold government accountable to the taxpayers. #Fun facts #Today I Learned

2 million illegals per year, we have more like 20 million
That’s a low estimate
So all the woke democrats think there are approx 20 million farming, waiter , plumbing jobs available?
What happens to blind $$$ holders
The Roman Empire took a while to fall and so will America.
Iran, Venezuela, and many other nations collapsed in less than 5 years
Well yes but they were also much less powerful
Agree
This is why we need Trump. The first thing he will do is cut off funding to Ukraine and kick out the illegals.
This is the dumbest thing I've read today in addition to OPs post. VMware hiring bar must be non-existent.
I second what MrRando said. Definitely stay at vmware. We don’t need all that.
We’re not an empire by any definition. And the problems you’re describing (or far worse ones) exist the world over. We may be on the precipice of a multi-lateral world, but America will have the largest seat at the table for the foreseeable future. Everyone’s so doom and gloom because they sit in their basements reading ZeroHedge. Go for a walk outside, everything’s fine
America is an empire from every possible angle. 1. Powerful ruling class - check 2. Powerful military - check 3. Bases and military parked close to all enemy nations - check 4. Foreign occupation, bending them to the benefit of their own citizens - check 5. Fight wars elsewhere, keep their homeland free of wars - check 6. Control worlds economy and currency for their benefit - check
Nothing you outlined defines an empire. Sure, we’re influential, but we’re not an empire
GDP hitting 30T, one of highest per capita income and gdp, labor shortage that is helped by “illegals” trying to earn a dime for their family while making 50% of the normal wage saving American businesses billions, wrecking Russias entire stock military equipment with some old 1980s era weaponry and no cost to American lives.
The cost of illegal immigration was $150 bln last year. Most of these people don't work. https://www.newsweek.com/illegal-immigration-costs-us-billions-biden-administration-policy-impact-taxpayer-burden-1866555
Illegals are working on jobs that Americans don’t want to touch with a ten foot pole
Hopefully in sanctuary cities
Well, there are many kids who could be making some serious side money doing the work of immigrants but the American way is to keep them hooked on Games, Marijuana, and College Debt instead.
Regarding Ukraine. My understanding is that we are sending things (not money!) that are collecting dust in depots. So when you hear things like “America is sending $100M to help Ukraine” it is not like we could use these money anyway. US needs healthcare and education, not bullets
The moment when Democrats and Republicans made a concerted effort to help Ukraine and not opioid addicts plaguing SF, that was immediate proof that the concerns of government bureaucrats in Washington is not for the safety of Americans but for the pocketbook of institutions making money in the midst of conflict.
Im tired of this misinfo. Read the bill ok. Most of it is from a us stockpile but millions are monet to ukrainian pensions. Its terrible as americans struggle we assist illegals and pay for wars.
