Interviews were OK, I wasn't asked any leetcode questions. WLB depends on team, but for the most part typical 9-5. Pay is OK; not great but not terrible.
Interviews were dirt easy when I did it (last year) absolutely tanked them and still got an offer (which in hindsight was probably a bad sign) wlb is great but my pay is meh, been trying to work up the energy to study and apply for other jobs but the work here is so dull and unengaging that I don’t wanna do anything after work 😐
When you say dirt easy, how easy are we talking lol. And what’s the pay like? I really want to move to NYC and looking for good wlb companies to join. Seems like Amex may be a good option
Pay: Pay range for a “Band 30” engineer is $80-150k, this would be for Engineer I, II, and III. Band 35 is Senior Engineer I, II, etc and has a higher range of pay. Stocks are only given to Band 35 and higher, and Band 35 is not guaranteed stock it’s only for top performers. Bonus is 8% minimum and spending on company performance multipliers can get up to 15-25%. WLB: Very good, I usually work 20-30 hours a week. Hybrid 3x a week is enforced kind of loosely, most teams don’t track at so it’s more honor system. When I do go into the office it’s usually only for 4-5 hours tops, 10-2/3 usually. Interviews: Depends on what you’re doing, I was asked LC Easy and Medium for a Band 30 position
