I advanced to the final virtual onsite for an Analytics Engineer role with Spotify and curious if anyone has experienced this interview process? This is supposedly a newish role so there's relatively few people in the role relative to data engineers, analysts, scientists etc. Fwiw the tech screening seemed very similar to the data scientist tech screening (2 sql questions, 1 python) that i've read about elsewhere. It looks like there will be 3 rounds of tech interviews at the onsite (data engineering, data science, systems design) and I haven't seen anything online about other people's experiences yet. Any thoughts to help in preparation would be much appreciated! #spotify
Is your experience primarily in data engineering?
What was your experience like?

Tips for clearing the phone or first interview ?
There are two phone interviews to start. 1 is a technical screening which is basic sql questions (stuff like join these 2 tables and find the track with the most plays by genre). There is also a python question which was basic data manipulation, nothing to hard if you work with sql and python frequently. The other phone interview is a straight forward behavioral interview, so just walking through projects you've worked on in the data space.
