She was acquired via an acquisition of her company.
Poor woman that sucks. I doubt she'll have a hard time finding a gig tho
Elon loves money over and above everything.
The story here is not that she got laid off, it’s that she felt the need to post this picture on LinkedIn in the first place, very disturbing that a woman at this level would still chase internet clout in such an embarrassing way. Hope she gets some help because this is beyond simple workaholism
In-fool-encer
This level of devotion to something futile that isn't yours is exactly what industrialists have strived to create. Sadly most salary workers easily fall for these situations because they tend on average (not all of course) to be more agreeable in exchange for a false sense of ownership and belonging. Key takeaway. If someone pitches you the vision that what you do matters and will change the world and you own a part of that in exchange for longer than usual work hours (uncompensated) and extreme flexibility.... Expect to be duped just like this
Lol visa slaves are forced to do this. This isn't even news
Ask yourself. Can the place where I work lock me out one day for some reason? If the answer is yes, don’t work there with that much devotion or even fake it.
She was sleeping. You don’t get photographed sleeping.
She took that pic herself. Tells you something about the person.

What did she expect? That’s the most aspie thing I’ve seen from a grown adult in my entire life. People have lives outside of work.
