Should I consider joining as an Android Dev? Some of the teams that showed interest are android. I have no experience as an android dev and I’ve always used iPhone. Was wondering if it would be too niche and if it would limit by job options later. Yoe:2 #google
Android is considered niche? You're writing software for 3 billion active devices. FWIW I used to be an Android dev and had no trouble changing to other platforms, and the market for Android devs is very hot (at least in SEA)
I guess it’s not niche, I’ve never used it though
why are they interested in you if you have no android experiences?
Idk. Maybe good interview feedback
Because he hasn't seen the terrible things that have happened to Android.
The only reason I got a job out of college was because I did some Android projects on the side and one of my internships was as an Android developer. Android also helped me sharpen my Java skills so that translated well for Java developer positions (my first job out of college) There's no way Android is a niche and no, your job options won't be limited in the future.
Hey dude, did you go with android position at Google? How are you liking it?

Why do Indians support Israel so much( on blind surprisingly) when Israel really thinks 💩of them ?
It is niche, but I don't think it would necessarily limit job options too much since Android is written in C/C++ and I believe Android app dev is Java.
