I've been looking at companies to move to in ~6 months to uplevel from new grad --> E4/SDE2 and Anduril looks really cool (i.e. culture, products, etc.). Currently at Meta (survived lol) working on internal tooling, close to some runtime/profiling/benchmarking work. I want to stay a bit longer since the work coming up next half seems pretty fun and more impactful than what I'm currently working on, and I feel I don't have enough experience to justify moving up a role quite yet. What does Anduril look for in an application? I don't want to get resume-rejected since this is a company I genuinely want to work at. Did you work on side projects related to your current role? I haven't worked on any side projects since graduating. It seems like Anduril is looking for people with a strong passion in a specific subject matter which would be best showcased in what I use my free time for. I'm still somewhat new to software, and I have touched a little bit of a lot of things without really landing on any strong likes/dislikes except probably frontend webdev. What does the interview look like? How different is it from the big tech mix of Leetcode/behavioral/system design? How is work split between the locations (i.e. Seattle/WA vs. CA)? I enjoy working in factory environments (seeing the products you help make is really cool)! Do referrals help significantly? Looking at the life ahead of me, big tech life would be extremely comfy, but I wanna work on something that isn't fundamentally just adtech. TC: levels.fyi --> E3 Meta, significantly lower due to stock death #Anduril
OP, did you get anduril offer?
working for a military contractor named after Aragorn's sword from Lord of the Rings sounds even more cringe than working on adtech IMO
How cute 😃 you okay friend?
lol a Dúnedain has arrived to scold me
