https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOIkOnW640A Watch first 20 minutes. He dispels all the BS of Microsoft so elegantly and succinctly. Glad that he called out the "EA revenue" being counted as Azure revenue.
No need to trash Microsoft, their products do it quite well all by themselves. Third rate (at best) in every field that they compete in. To the people mentioning Market Cap, you can refresh your Bing stock quotes all day long, but you can’t change the fact that your products are total shit. 🤷♂️
May be you guys should also build shit products to get that level of market cap :) I can bet you aren’t an engineer, just some wannabe tech person. Everyone says “numbers don’t lie” but you probably don’t believe in numbers and go by “gut” instinct like Mr President 😂
1) Maybe is one word 2) Why would anybody willingly build shit products other than sloppiness, laziness and poor work culture/leadership? 3) Who actually gives a shit about market cap? 4) I could probably write cleaner/more efficient code than you or your entire org with my eyes closed and using my toes so I don’t know where you plucked this random assumption from. 5) How did you land on politics? Microsoft is really employing the best and the brightest I see. 👍
Theyre so obsessed with their customers that they want to kill them. Atleast we’re not creating businesses to compete with customers. 😙
The presentation was impressive. But now that I am at Google Cloud, I am more impressed with my paycheck, perks, benefits, wlb, etc, even if we have below zero customers 🤣
What does "EA revenue" mean?
Microsoft has begun and is still in this explosion of innovation. The company has done something rarely seen in an industry: transformed in response to seismic shifts in the market. And it's paying off. Microsoft is among the two or three tech companies right now stock analysts are saying: Bet on them. That said, there's a price for rapid and free-wheeling innovation--technical debt. I think Microsoft is right now where it was back during the first rollout of XP.... touted as the most secure OS it ever developed. It was garbage (Azure isn't "garbage", however). Gates formed TrustWorthy Computing and dedicated the entire company to simply fixing what it has now over launching new features. That decision was vital--recall no one wanted to leave XP for years. It's probably fair to say Microsoft is in a similar place now. The company would do well to focus on the fundamentals---all centered around Trust. Once that happens, the brand will be simply unstoppable.
Wow, you’ve been around for quite some time. All those buzzwords starting from 2012 all over dat response! Dayum!
Andy is worried about Azure revenue eclipsing AWS. Rightly so.
Where I come from first place doesn't pick a fight with second place. It's petty.
Oh God, that was garbage! "I know 10 ways to jack off the others know at most 5 so I am twice better."
Customer's no squat about how to deploy in the cloud. Those 50 features per service he is talking about only confuses the hell out of customers. It's a nightmare for them to go through all the documentation and learn about the intricacies of those hundreds of options.
Too many businesses are built on the foundation that AWS is confusing as shit and is not user friendly! You want them to go bankrupt?
Dope. I think were the most valuable company in the US now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
How’s that working out for you slave? Sleep much better at night knowing you’re slaving more while Fat Pumpkin and her ilk are making the company SJW central and padding their own pockets with fat bonuses?
Don't care I'm rich with awesome wlb
