Hi Guys, Asking for a friend. He is planning relocation to the US. Now he has hard times and he probably needs antidepressants. But he is affraid to go to the doctor because he thinks it might block his move to the US ever or getting greencard later. What can you tell about it?
What does a foreign doctor prescribing medicine, have to do with the USCIS?
He tolf me there is a question somewhere when applying like 'did you ever took antidepressants, had mental problems or suicide thoughts'. Something like that.
I mean.. lie? He's already lying if he says no to that question. If he really needs a pick me up, why not try microdosing LSD or something? Or buy bupropion online.
Even if he has a mental condition he will be able to obtain a waiver. https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/us-deny-entry-inadmissibility-reasons-29715.html If he’s from Indian, I don’t think he should worry about his green card as the wait time is more than 80 years. Take care.
He is not from India. Thank you for your link!

Ughhhh, It will be easy to get at work, but idk how mental health records affect getting a green card, I can ask my dad, he’s a therapist.
I would appreciate it! Thanks!
