Any HFT companies where you can come in late?
Just wondering if there's any HFT companies where you can come in at around 10 or 11 am as a SWE. Focusing on London specifically. I need a job where I won't get shit for my chronotype. 2 YOE TC 85k base 40k bonus
How is the work culture at IMC ?
Not bad and I heard it's one of the best among HFTs. Wlb is not perfect (I'm doing a 9 to 6) but better than average in the industry I'm willing to bet. The problem for me is that they expect everyone to be up and running at 9 am (at least in my team) and doing that is detrimental to my health. Idk why the dumb rule.

I think they’re more lenient than multi strat asset managers and especially banks but can’t say if hours are flexible. If you find out, tell us!

Work progression: meh. Depending on luck you can end up doing braindead stuff to alright. If you work for the US you gain experience that's very useful for hopping to other firms, otherwise I'd pass. And forget about touching anything quant-y. Pay progression is a joke for the industry lmao
