I always wondered if HR folks are using this site, just to gauge potential candidates view and salary expectations? How many of you HRs out there? Please comment and let us know what you look for on here.
I've only seen recruiters on here, but nobody from the other functional areas of HR.

HR here. Honestly, I’m trying to find a new job so someone recommended this app. I stayed because I genuinely enjoy the content and am able to talk to people without having to give into the toxic positivity that is on LI.
I'm also in HR (non-recruiting) and have stayed for the same reasons. I feel like I get a more unfiltered view of companies here than on Glassdoor. Plus it's just wild/entertaining to see all the high TCs on here. Haha.

If you’re a recruiter and you don’t check Blind, i think you’re missing out on a ton of market and competitive intel. Majority of my team checks Blind regularly.

No. Never. If anything, we’ll take it lower.
I can tell you this is not true - we get disgruntled and cynical just like any other employee :) Personally, as an HRBP, I advocate for my people and always push my leadership to do the right thing. I rated my company accurately (ie not high) I’m also not in recruiting.

Haha, pretty good information I’m gonna quit my engineering role and trying to become a recruiter as well.
Or *some* engineers with no personal skills whatsoever don't understand that you need peoples skills to do non-engineering jobs in general..
