The CEO went on record saying there will be no #layoff at ServiceNow this year: https://www.cio.com/article/420069/servicenow-posts-q4-growth-as-enterprise-automation-remains-strong.html Are there other companies that have made a promise like that? TC:0
It’s not bad if you need a job. Terrible place for engineers though
Why?
Most development is done using their proprietary no code/low code platform. They use ancient legacy tech too
Zillow has been internally saying they won't, but ya i don't think it means anything
Appreciate this gesture but ceo reports to board and investors, it's not solely his call
I'm biased obviously but do you really think a CEO would say something like that without consulting the board and major shareholders?
Have you not seen other examples of coinbase and other companies where they laid off in huge chunks 2 months after saying exactly what your ceo is saying today. Stop drinking that koolaid, learn something from faang(apple excluded). All I'm saying is its a pretty immature statement to make publicly.
Service now is a horrible software but popular with enterprises. Kinda like workday. Good for them though, I hope they stick to it.
I personally seen many worst enterprise softwares. Go and check Oracle or Sap ones, even Microsoft ones like Teams.
Yes but ServiceNow is horrible than Teams. MS Teams has bit of modern UI
Maybe they don’t have much to gain from layoffs from a shareholder point of view
Or maybe their stock fell last night after they BEAT analyst expectations because the CEO said they wouldn’t lay off people. Greedy Wall Street.
I guess you have to revisit our stock price now 🌝
Adobe
right
Flexport CEO said they won’t do layoff, so the CEO brings in a new CEO to do the layoff. 20% gone
Haha !!
Trust no one. Keep looking out for yourself
Wait till board gives an ultimatum to CEO, either lay off or get laid off!
He is the chairman of the board. I don’t think he would say something like this without having consulted people on his statement.

PM is irrelevant role and will die in next 2-3 years.
Promises are made to be broken, not to be kept.
If you know our ceo, he has very high moral fiber. And why does everyone seem to have such a negative outlook? I would love for your company CEO to announce the same thing too
LOL. My company's CEO also said the same before and he's the Co-Founder of the company. He said that we're doing good and we respect our employees. A month later, Bam! 11% layoff in the name of "saving the company for the future". "Trust no one in tech". Even the engineers aren't sure of completing the product deadlines 😂
