Any good budgeting / spending tracker apps?

Ideally I'm looking for something which can just scan my credit card statements and auto categorize them with good filtering options.

Yeah I tried using Mint but felt it didn't categorize things correctly. I might have to give it another look.

I still can't hook up Robinhood to Mint.

I have had success with YNAB. Doing everything manually is something I recommend because it makes tracking your spending more intentional and less passive. Builds better habits. That said, if you want automatic, YNAB does auto import but Mint might be better for fully automated.

Yeah that's a good point. I tried mint but didn't really visit it much once I set it up. With the manual approach, I might get into a habit of reviewing my spending weekly or so.

Level was the only good one. Then Capital One bought it and ruined it.

I used mint for a while and although I can budget myself I find it hard to budget my kids so I'll just wait till they are gone

I like personal capital. I create custom categories and then categorize spending

My dad uses pocket expense for iPhone. It’s very good if you want to do it manually.
