I was told that, when a manager opens a req for a contractor, it is usually $250 - $300 / hour. So any manager here wants to hire a Front End developer for that amount? I have worked for Microsoft, Oracle, Apple, Intuit. Hardcore JavaScript. Have used React / Redux for 4 years. #contracting
Best I can do is $25
That's through a vetted vendor, too much hassle to deal with you.
Yep and 33 percent goes to the vendor overhead not the person
you mean Vendor takes in $135, and take $45 of that, and give $90 to the contractor? $45 / $135 = 33.3%
Wtf is hard core Javascript
It's like JavaScript but it's also hardcore
Like soft core but hard
All these companies go through preferred vendors and they would keep at least $100 per hour. So aim slightly lower
so the company give them $250 and they keep $100? So I can get $150? But if it is through vendors, the most I have heard was $100 exact, on W2, and that's because their system used Ember.js and they couldn't find people to do Ember
Hard core JavaScript. I can use React. Gg eazy win
Good luck
How’s your CSS?
I am trained pretty well in CSS, especially I went through the days when we had to deal with IE 6, IE 7, IE 8... to nowadays flexbox, CSS grid, transition, animation (keyframes)
