It is a massive improvement compared to Amazon culturally. No concerns there for most teams. As for TC, wait for the dust to settle. They launched half-baked leveling and comp changes and have made promises to “re-visit things” later this year. The TL;DR is every level’s TC range has been reduced to the previous level’s TC range, approximately. 4 yoe is borderline L5, depends on interview performance.
Pinterest is garbage now
It’s a dumpster. Everyone is looking for earliest opportunity to get out . We are doomed in all directions - company , career growth, comp , leadership.
Company is overvalued on the market. They’re doing this mess to try and buy some time before the stock actually gets re-rated. The hope is that revenue will start growing again. It might (given the low % market share), however, that’s the risk you’re taking. If it doesn’t happen, stock will tank into the teens.
