Hi Indeed folks Any signs of layoff or hiring freeze at Indeed now. Job market slowing down , will this affect Indeed. How stable is the company to handle recession

Indeed has a business model where they get paid by clicks on job posts and they charge companies that posts jobs. When the job market gets on a freeze how do they make money. Do they rely on cash reserve to survive the recession. I heard their parent company recruit had good cash reserve

Nope! No signs of slow down, they are growing a lot and just got my offer today. indeed is beyond tech jobs, they help hire a lot at various levels as well (warehouse, service jobs, etc.) those folks are always in demand considering general labor shortage
Until people don’t buy products b/c they can’t afford them/don’t want to afford them in a downturn.
No signs of slow down yet. Still hiring. We got through the pandemic without layoffs and they would use some limited cost cutting measures such as reduction in contractor renewals and slowing hiring before any layoff. Additionally, Indeed has two sets of users that they rely on. Both companies and jobseekers. Both leverage the site depending on recession or growth.

Indeed primary users are blue collar - retail, transportation, nursing, warehouse etc etc. There is a massive labor shortage in these areas and even as economy contracts we should see sustained growth here. Indeed is generally cheaper than competitors and pay per performance, so we have traditionally gained marketshare during downturn (2010, 2020). That said ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ who knows right?
