Any word on layoffs or furlough at EY?
I am in advisory and my counselor told me there wouldn't be any layoffs. He also mentioned that would change. I'm curious if anyone else know anything on this? Is EY considering layoffs ? #consulting #ey #ey
I heard about the regular layoff for underperformers at the fiscal year end. Might be in a larger scale than the usual.

Even for people on PIP I think they said won't be let go until at least 6/30, so that's nice

I can't imagine the Big 4s to not be impacted. Partners are taking pay cuts, bonuses are scrapped, and new hires are getting offers lower than what they would have gotten pre-covid.
Laid off recently from EY. Do not believe the kind words really, especially if it comes from people that are several levels above you (leadership team). Have your own criteria and learn how to identity red flags.
I haven't heard anything from my Big 4 friends yet.
