Anybody feel like just sitting in their car for few minutes when you pull into work?

Every day as soon as I finish eating lunch I go and hang out in my car for half an hour or so. I recline the seat, roll down the window a bit, and read a book while drinking coffee. Or I apply to jobs on my phone and do phone screens. It’s become a very therapeutic daily ritual for me so you’re definitely not alone.

I like to sit and meditate at home before I go to work for about 15 minutes

You’re normal! I see a lot of my coworkers do that - myself included. For me, the Seattle commute sucks, so I take 10-15 minutes to decompress in my car before heading up to my office.

I do it when I reach home (after gym). It's a few minutes of peace because the day has ended (in terms of major chores like work and exercise) and I can have the next hour or so just to myself - either doing nothing, lying down on bed, talking to friends, watching a TV show, surfing interner, or scrolling blind. I sit in my car for 10-15mins (sometimes even more) just looking at the street lights shining on the road in the dark, doing some introspection, being at peace, feeling healthy after a workout, thinking about the things that bother me or that I have to make a priority, feeling the soreness in my body, taking a break from the rat race, thanking God, and remembering my parents and close friends who make this life worthwhile.

I play games on my phone for a few minutes before going into work ( unless I’m late ! )

Yes. I go for a long breakfast alone, before starting work.
