So, I saw an ad on LinkedIn regarding ALGOPRO courses by ex-Google tech lead Patrick Shyu and ex-Facebook software engineer Jonathan Ma. The course price looks OKAYish $77 after 20% discount. Is it worth it?
Fu** what they talking about.. just do LC How can you trust a f××× who idolizes black pink
I hate Joma, I like the tech lead though.
Joma was at google 2 days ago grabbing sunmi's ass. They're dating but sunmi is trash anyways lol
Hell no don't do that
Just saved $77.
They're ex for a reason 😂
Just saw his LinkedIn profile. Still says Tech lead at Facebook. Anyone at Facebook?
Didn't he get fired?
Is this an ad? Sounds like an ad. Your product is trash, tech lead is an asshole, and your shitty product is overpriced. LeetCode all day.
Lol. Loved it. Unfortunately I am not. I wish those guys are seeing this. I was not sure if this was really a thing. Looked catchy but definitely not something worthy.
I've lost all credibility for anything coming from these two. All thanks to https://youtu.be/HF1g5xNTgLQ From the looks of it, TechLead is a big time Hypocrite.
Poor lispy Clement. It's pretty shitty how they did him like that. Clement's a sweetheart and we must protect him.
This is the reason I will suggest checking out Clement’s work. Algo pro seems to be a complete copy of clements work
Honestly I was surprised to see them launch this because it's a direct copy of AlgoExpert but from someone who has a much bigger brand and reach. Not surprised to see that video someone linked down below about Mihail complaining about Tech Lead using some dirty tricks.
Thats a tend I believe. The other guy Created his courses as well CS Dojo
I'm not gonna lie though, I own both algoexpert and algopro, tech lead knows his shit and the Joma + Tech Lead combo is way better for learning and you can pause the vids to solve the problem yourself first. Algoexpert the dude talks kinda slow, it's really good info but it's just a bunch of famous algorithms and most of the videos last 30 minutes to 1 hour. Algopro videos have the same information but in like 8-10mins. At the end of the day $70 for each isn't bad for me if it helps me land the jobs I want.
They're ripping people off, big time.
Speaking about LeetCode being better, is LeetCode Premium worth it? I've been thinking about it for a long time, but the sub price is just too much. Wish it was a one-time pay.
Cant you cancel it after a month? So it's just 35? I think it's very useful if you have a specific company you're interviewing for. They have a mock interview section where you can take mock Google/FB/MSFT/Amazon phone/onsite, that's worth it if you treat it like a real interview. You get your performance matched against Big 4 employees as well for the mock interviews.
Without any second doubt. You can put your last penny. I don't think anyone would disagree. However I would recommend start with the free account and once you get little comfortable and planning to take on competitive interview upgrade to premium. I am at Google. Current subscription is expiring soon, I am definitely going to renew it
Joma was a data scientist or some shit
No shit
Nah dude just do LC and read about algos
Algo expert is much better with video explanation
