Anybody working on wearables? Have any insight on Intel's shutting of NDG?

Anyone work | have any insights on Intel's new devices group (NDG) that recently closed down? Any recs on sourcing of swe/firmware e talent?

We are out of all wearables and Maker boards. We gave up. All NDG have either already been laid off or have until Jan to wrap up projects. No hiring. No managers left. Unless you are a data scientist or 7nm chip arch, I highly recommend that you stay far away from Intel.

Can definitely agree. Worked at intel previously, everyone's been eating their lunch and has been forcing them to lowball (and I mean every fab and hardware design company). They've been trimming fat for two years to lean up and it's not stopping anytime soon.

Awesome, thx ☝🏾 | any idea where most talent @ NDG are headed? Where they were based? Would love to connect w/ engineering talent if they're not too jaded on the wearables space.
