30/M software engineer looking for a small group of guys interested in keeping each other accountable and motivated throughout the day. I'm thinking an office with some workout equipment, obviously quiet for most of the day but doing small workouts every once in a while or a normal workout in the middle of the day. I like lifting and muay thai (kickboxing). Basically I'm tired of trying to find motivation to workout throughout/at the end of the workday. #hybrid #remotework #wfh
if you're diligent about going to the gym 3x a week you're not the target audience for this post.
you're missing the point here.
I understand your idea but I don’t think it’s a good one Small spread out workouts sounds a lot more time consuming and exposed you more to injury
I don't care about the size of the workouts. that's not what this post is about
I’m a bodybuilder OP’s approach to fitness isn’t a good one but it’s better than nothing
I would rather work out in my farm and do the job remotely
I work from home and am living in Frisco area. I kinda feel you, but honestly I don't see how "keeping each other accountable and motivated" is related to this combined office. I'm a pretty disciplined guy I'd say. I like exercising as well but always in a gym. Reason being I focus 100% on work during the day thus I simply don't want to be in my office anymore at the end of the day 😅 Also, I have a motorcycle and do enjoy riding it everyday to the gym. 🏍️ I guess that's just the fundamental difference between our lifestyles. Whether you ends up getting the combined office done or not, I wish you the best and stay safe my friend.
Great idea. I hope you find some like minded people!
Tc?
I do WFH and live in The Colony. I usually workout at home with dumbbells everyday. Let me know if you wanna connect
Not a bad idea, I’d go to a coworking space with racquetball, badminton, table tennis, foosball and gym
If it doesn’t pertain to you don’t comment. Didn’t your momma teach you if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all.
You work from home? Why are you going to the gym at the end of the day? If you get no flexibility, you’re kind of getting the worst of both worlds.
I meant throughout the day/at the end of the day. Plenty of flexibility, it's just easier to fill time scrolling/working more instead of exercising.
