Any brave souls at Apple that like Android better? #Apple #iPhone #Android #cultofapple
I use Samsung galaxy because it's cheaper. But I never show it in the office. It's my side piece....shhh!!
Impossible not to show it in office once everyone is back!
When I'm working, I really don't need a phone. All the phone communication apps are available on the desktop. I leave it on my car.
Not that I necessarily think that Android is better but when I joined Apple, I had an Android phone and Apple gave me an old iPhone XS as my work phone. As it has worse specs and a worse camera than my Android phone, I kept my Android as a daily driver. As much as I'd like to dogfood stuff I'm not going to give up a good phone for a worse one.
Maybe I wanna take some of that back actually. The notification system on Android is vastly better than on iOS, and the secret folder feature is also great if you wanna remove some apps from prying eyes. I don't get how notifications are displayed on iOS. Why is the "notification center" thingie with the button to clear all IN THE MIDDLE. And the grouping of notifs is eluding me...
My manager noticed I use an Android phone on my second day because my org uses text. Asked me to order an iPhone.
I'll just buy one when I get my discount. Do you get the discounts immediately after starting?
I believe the the 25% discount starts immediately. You get an additional $500 off after 90 days. My manager let me order an iphone for work though so I didn't have to pay for the one I got.
The thing is, you won't be able to set up Apple email on Android.
My friends at google do the reverse they use Apple lol
But that's pretty normal from what I heard. I don't think the inverse is true.
