Amazon is not known for its designs. Whether you look at Kindle, amazon.com retail website, Ring, Alexa, etc., none of them make you think, "wow they really took care to make these things look nice." They're passable at best. Well, the internal sites are even uglier. To some extent, FB also has a pretty ugly designs. Do other companies, such as Google and Apple who put in time to make their products look nice, have ugly internal web sites?
IBM Cloud has the best UI design in my opinion. Doesn’t compared like AWS however, the UI is cleaner

That's such a messed up logic
They use outdate tech stack. They are still using Angular One. And the old Spring framework, the one that use XML to wire all the beans. And it breaks so easily, and when it breaks it give your a huge stack trace that is not human readable.
I agree, Amazon has one of the sloppiest UI I have seen among the retail industry. My company's internal one is pretty okayish. They clean up every now n then
