So I work at small seed stage startup. Before I came, it seems an AR firm roped the company into a 2 year agreement. It’s been 1+ year service and coverage on us has been a bag of ducks ( time and again) they didn’t take the time to understand what we do and represented it incorrectly). I’m trying to terminate the agreement but they’re pushing back and saying we need to talk to their ombudsman. Anyone ever do this before? Any advice appreciated Tc 300 #tech #ar

Purchasing an analyst contract with an expectation of coverage is not going to go well. Use the contract to run inquiries with analysts who can validate or refute assumptions you are making about customer needs and account targeting. You can typically shift coverage areas and analyst relationships way easier than you can get a refund.
