My wife has 7 years of consulting experience focused on change management functions, found a good role at stripe that she is interested in but wanted to learn more about the team.
Same experience with me. After busting a weekend in written they Basically gave a weird non- response of a decision. Basically saying they will resume in December?!?
Same experience here. Passed phone and one in person panel interview. Got a bizarre written assignment where I was supposed to answer like 10 subjective design questions in under 2 pages. Gave it my best shot..got email rejection.
Dang that’s annoying. How were the interview questions? Have the hiring manager + hopefully panel coming up. Any words of advice to get through those?
Interview questions were fairly normal..describe a project sort..I don’t know what really they look for to be honest. Good luck!
Thanks all for the perspective, super helpful!

Job market is brutal for SWEs 🥲
Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t the best. Applied for a Product role in April and after passing two phone interviews and the written exercise, the recruiter told me point blank that the hiring manager chose to move forward with a list of candidates from Facebook, Google, and Amazon. I get it, but the recruiter could’ve saved me a lot of time if that was the bar in the first place. Recruiters being recruiters…I guess.
