Had a call w/ a recruiter. Seemed like a chill company. Now they want me to create a threaded chat application and claim it should be done in 3 hours. Seems like a chill project but want to make sure their comp is legit.. Anyone interviewed w/ Knock CRM in Seattle? What was their comp?
This is beyond stupid. Don’t. This is a company that’s gonna get fucked when recession hits and people stop buying houses. Holding real estate is not a good strategy fir startups
Thanks homie. I sent the recruiter a message and said I’d like to continue but with a standard coding interview
Good luck bud.
I work for Knock now and friggin’ love it still after 9mo’s. They offered me 60% more than what I was making at my previous gig and the company culture is pretty awesome for it being a fully distributed team. I hadn’t ever worked a remote gig before and it’s still been an adjustment but I really enjoy it.
Do you still love it? Also what was your experience like before?
Do you still love it?
I have an interview with them too and can’t find any info about them.

Any company who’s wasting your time by asking you to build a chat app will indeed waste your time when you join them.
Normally I’d totally agree. However, there are a few startups that I’d join even if they required an app. Not so sure a real estate CRM is worth the time tbh.
