How is it? How's the pay? Any good PM roles?
I can’t speak for that specific team but Disney is known for underpaying in CA
I work in Disney now in enterprise tech and there are a ton of opportunities but you need to be in one of the regional centers. The pay is not top tier but great perks and WLB. Depends on your team and your manager.
I work for DPEP. It is beyond repair. Please do yourself a favor and NEVER leave a company like Google for Disney. They are truly a shit show. I didn’t believe it and now here I am.
Can you provide details? Really curious, given that's such a focal division with a new CEO.
The highest paid employees are in Disney Streaming Services and even that is still lower than industry, so go figure
It’s not top tier for sure. But there is more to life than FAANG.
I know two people who work there now. They had a huge round of layoffs didn't they?
I think it was just a requirement to move to Florida
Most of those were self-imposed. They were given a choice to either move to Florida, or find a different role. The only ones who got laid off were those who did not choose to move and likewise did not pursue another role.
